About Bermagui U3A

Bermagui is a beautiful seaside town on the far south coast of NSW, 383km south of Sydney and 284km SE of Canberra. Our population is about 2,000 people and we are in the Bega Valley Shire.

Our U3A has day courses running at the Community Centre, the Surf Life Saving Club, and members’ homes.  In 2015, we offered over 80 classes and in 2016 we offered over 150.

We attract members from Bermagui township and the surrounding “triangle” towns and villages of Cuttagee, Quaama, Cobargo, Tilba and Wallaga Lake, as well as our neighbour Narooma! Our U3A has a distinctive “Bermi” flexibility about it, catering for the local population where people often need to travel for services or to visit relatives. We also have a number of members who visit the area for holidays.

PERMISSION TO PHOTOGRAPH
As an historic record, U3A takes photos of groups and activities from time to time.
If you do not want your photo taken or published, you must inform your group leader and whoever is taking photos.
At large public gatherings (e.g. AGM and Information & Registration Days), it is almost impossible to determine who does not want to be photographed.
We suggest to Members who do not want to be photographed, that it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to remove yourself from view if you see someone taking photos.
